Transportation Drop-Off & Parking

For small groups

Passenger cars only (overhead clearance: 7 ft 0 in)

  • North Side Garage is the closest parking (across Ireland St.) and has visitor parking on the 1st level only.
  • Polo Garage is located about 4–5 blocks from our building on University Dr.
  • College Main Parking offers garage and surface lot options. This garage is located off campus and is not affiliated with the university. More information can be found here:

For large groups & schools

Buses must drop-off and pick-up passengers, and then park at designated locations as indicated in the PDF map directions below. Charter buses: Use “Option 2: Hogg Street” for drop-off and pick-up.

Buses enter from University Drive and turn onto Ireland Street, then turn right on New Street to unload, before turning right onto Asbury Street where they will exit at the light to find their way to park along New Main Dr. Passengers that unloaded at New Street will walk to Ireland Street and turn left to arrive at the Mitchell Physics Complex.

Option 1: New Street

Buses enter from from University Drive and turn at Houston Street, turn left at Hogg Street and unload passengers, then continue on and turn left at Asbury Street to exit the area and find their way to park along New Main Drive. Passengers that unloaded will walk from Hogg Street and turn left at Asbury Street, turn right at New Street, and then left at Ireland Street to arrive at the Mitchell Physics Complex.
